“What’s that soppy look on your face?”

I tried to straighten my expression, but Wes had already seen me grinning like an idiot at Ru’s messages.

“Some chick sexting you?” he asked, dumping his wet towel on the floor and giving me a ringside view of his meat and two veg.

“Put some clothes on, you twat,” I said grumpily.

“What? Making you feel inadequate?” he laughed. “Don’t worry, mate. Not everyone can be hung like a horse and God’s gift to women.”

Twenty-four hours with this idiot was going to seriously test my self-control, because I already wanted to tape his mouth shut.

“What?”

He screwed up his face.

He managed to look hurt.

“Jeez, Wes! Get a clue! Don’t sext. Don’t send dick pics. Ever! If those sort of photos get into the Press … bloody hell! Don’t you remember what happened to Nick Renshaw and his missus?”

Wes paused with his hand scratching an armpit.

“Nope.”

I sighed.

“The pictures got published, Nick got benched and his girlfriend lost her job. Ring any bells?”

At Wes’s vacant expression, I shook my head and picked up the remote control.

“See if you can get any porn channels,” he said.
